An effective treatment to improve sperm quality and fertility
Male infertility is an increasingly common condition and accounts for about 50% of couple infertility causes. It manifests as a reduced reproductive capacity, often caused by insufficient sperm production or alterations in their quality (motility, morphology, concentration). In this scenario, specific products, like Fertilifast, are gaining attention for their ability to support spermatogenesis in a safe, natural, and clinically validated way.
But what does it mean to have healthy sperm?
Sperm considered healthy is characterized by an ejaculatory volume of at least 1.5 mL, a sperm concentration greater than 15 million sperm per milliliter, a total motility greater than 40% (with at least 32% progressive), and a normal morphology in at least 4% of the cells.
Other fundamental indicators are a slightly alkaline pH (between 7.2 and 8), sperm vitality (over 58%), and a low presence of leukocytes, which can indicate the absence of infections or inflammation. All these parameters contribute to the fertilizing capacity of the sperm and can be influenced by lifestyle, age, environmental factors, and nutrition.
Clinical study on Fertilifast: efficacy demonstrated on multiple parameters
Gruppo FarmaImpresa conducted an observational clinical study on 20 men with infertility for over 12 months, testing the efficacy of the food supplement Fertilifast, taken for 3 months (1 sachet/day). The patients were evaluated at baseline (T0), after 3 months of treatment (T3), and after an additional 3 months of follow-up (T6). The analyzed parameters included: ejaculate volume, sperm concentration and motility (total and progressive), vitality, morphology, pH, and leukocyte count.
The results: significant improvement in motility and concentration
The results showed a statistically significant improvement in several key parameters:
Table 1 – Increase in total and progressive motility
The Graphs show the increase in total and progressive sperm motility comparing the data at baseline and after product administration. The increase in total motility (p<0.001) and progressive sperm motility (p<0.001) is statistically significant, with a clear improvement in the quality of sperm movement, which is essential for the success of natural fertilization. These results confirm the role of Fertilifast in the functional enhancement of sperm after just 3 months of use.
Impact on sperm and leukocyte concentration
The results of the clinical study on Fertilifast also highlight a significant impact on key parameters such as sperm concentration and the presence of leukocytes in the sperm, both essential indicators of seminal quality.
Table 2. Effect of Fertilifast on sperm and leukocyte concentration (baseline vs follow-up)
The Graphs show the increase in sperm concentration and the reduction in leukocyte concentration in the sperm, comparing the values at baseline and at follow-up after 90 days of Fertilifast administration. The increase in sperm concentration is statistically significant (p < 0.005), signaling a quantitative improvement in sperm production.
The decrease in leukocyte concentration (p < 0.001) suggests an anti-inflammatory or antioxidant action, potentially useful for further improving sperm quality and reducing damage from oxidative stress. These data strengthen the role of Fertilifast as an effective support for idiopathic male infertility and conditions related to seminal fluid dysfunctions.
Why is Fertilifast effective?
Fertilifast is formulated with nutraceuticals with synergistic action, including:
- L-Carnitine and L-Acetylcarnitine: improve sperm motility and quality
- L-Arginine: nitric oxide precursor, essential for motility
- Coenzyme Q10: powerful antioxidant, improves cellular vitality
- Zinc and Selenium: support morphology, sperm concentration, and reduce oxidative stress
- N-Acetylcysteine: protects DNA and cell membrane from ROS (reactive oxygen species) All these components act to restore testicular homeostasis and optimize seminal parameters.
Conclusions: a clinically validated support for male infertility
The data obtained from the clinical study indicate that Fertilifast is able to improve the motility, concentration, and overall quality of sperm in subjects with primary infertility. In particular:
- Increased total and progressive motility
- Increased sperm concentration
- Reduced leukocytes (index of infection and oxidative stress) Fertilifast therefore represents a useful nutraceutical treatment in cases of alterations in the spermogram and idiopathic infertility.
