On July 4, 2024, the conference “Dietary Supplements: Market Analyzed and Development Prospects in the Current European Regulatory Framework” was held in the Sala del Refettorio at Palazzo San Macuto.
It was a privilege for Gruppo FarmaImpresa to be invited and take part in this significant event.
During the conference, we had the opportunity to meet and engage with prominent figures in the Italian political landscape, including Hon. Vito De Palma, Hon. Patrizio Giacomo La Pietra, Undersecretary of State for Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forests, Hon. Marcello Gemmato, Undersecretary of State for Health, and Hon. Ugo Cappellacci.
A privilege to discuss with them the development prospects of dietary supplements within the current European regulatory framework. These meetings provided an important opportunity to share ideas, proposals, and strategies to promote the growth of the dietary supplements sector while ensuring the safety and quality of the products offered to consumers.
The conference highlighted the importance of a clear and consistent regulatory framework that can support the industry in innovation and competitiveness at the European level. The discussions with Hon. De Palma, La Pietra, Gemmato, and Cappellacci allowed us to delve into the issues related to regulation and development policies, emphasizing the commitment of the institutions to support such a vital sector for the health and well-being of citizens.
Participating in this event strengthened our belief that through constructive dialogue and close collaboration between businesses and institutions, achieving ambitious goals and promoting a dynamic and safe dietary supplements market is possible. We are grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this conference and remain confident that the emerging discussions and ideas can translate into concrete actions benefiting the sector and society as a whole.
